Hey, guys!

For a very long time I'm looking for an application that is able to record audio on my Windows system. Yes, I know, there are many, but I have a few specific requirements:
- freeware;
- portable;
- able to select audio source (microphone, stereo mix, speakers etc.); Bonus if it can record from multiple sources simultaneous (if not, one can use Playthrough for this);
- supports GLOBAL hotkeys so it is able to record from the background (this is the hardest one and the most important for me);
- able to record in high quality; bonus if it can export the recordings in multiple formats (wav, mp3, flac etc.);
- bonus if it has a small footprint;
- bonus if it accepts command line arguments;
- bonus if it has a recordings manager;
- bonus if it has a wave indicator.

Believe it or not, an application like this really exists; it is called Mini Recorder and is made by Vitaly Checkryzhev. Latest version is 1.5.4 from 2006 and was released under GNU GPL v2 license and source code is available. Although I used it and believe it is harmless, many AV software are going crazy when scanning it (I think because of its "spy mode"): https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/6cf ... 0118252648

I have no idea how to look in this code and would like to have someone check it out.

Also, does anyone know of any alternative?

Thanks!
